Hidden gem along the countryside as you veer off of the 401. Viewing window to watch the process. There was a steady flow of customers when we stopped about 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. Variety of cheddar cheeses from very young to aged, brick in a variety of sizes. Fudge, sausages, honey, maple syrup, jams and other interesting local goodies. It’s worth the short excursion to stop in for a new experience. Only complaint is we asked to use a bathroom after over $85 purchase and they didn’t let us. So, had to drive around to find a public washroom.

A great local cheese factory. Their fresh curd is amazing. I also enjoy their old cheddars. Not far off the 401 or a nice drive through the country roads to get some cheesy comestibles.

Got the "very old cheese" which is aged cheddar. Very delicious and super nice staff. They also carry a variety of baked goods including cookies as well as jams and other sauces. Located in a pretty residential area.

Stopped by today and picked up a couple bags of curd ,and it was fresh and squeaky. Really enjoyed the best curd around the area.

We went there on our way to Kingston. Recommended by a friend who grew up in Odessa. Store is about 5 mins drive from 401. It's in the middle beautiful small town of Wilton. Size of the store is surprisingly small for its popularity. But variety of cheeses and taste is no small by any stretch. Their fresh cheese curds seems to be popular item. It was Sunday morning and steady stream of people coming to store and as they leave, you can see they nibbling on cheese curds. Prices are very reasonable or even I can say, they are cheaper than big box stores for the quality of cheese. My personal favorite is cheese with Green Olives. As the name suggests, they do have their cheese factory behind the store and cheese making process can be seen from in the store. Hopefully we'll visit again in summer.

My favourite cheese curds from anywhere. Some places make it too salty, but Wilton makes it just right. I also love their cheddar and their shredded cheddar/mozzarella mix.

Great cheese at this factory. I stop in every time I'm in the area. Very reasonably priced, cheese curds and aged cheddar are some of the best I've ever had. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is small and tight and it can be a busy place but the cheese itself (plus their BBQ sauces) more than make up for this minor detail.

Best place for cheese. We love the 5 year old cheddar... candy! Their curd I the best I have ever had. We go there frequently just for the curd. Plan to go on production day (4 times a week) for fresh squeaky curd and for their super mild, fresh pressed cheese. It is like curd in a block. Yum!

Wilton is one of those places in Ontario where you can buy quality Ontario cheese and fresh curd. I got a very nice old Cheddar age 5 yrs there recently.

Wilton Cheese pretty much runs in my veins! Absolutely the best quality Canadian cheddar I've tasted. The fresh squeeky curds and extra old cheddar are my favourite! Two generations of my grandfather's sold milk to them from the farm across the street. Many memories playing in the creek beside the factory. You will love the cheese here! Support local!
